Yes, it’s gross, but it’s true: only 34 percent of people brush their teeth twice a day.
Out of that, 44 percent are female, 22 percent male, and the other 34 percent of people did not specify which gender they were.
This is nonsense, people. Twice a day is only the recommended amount. In reality, most dentists will tell you it’s better to brush your teeth after every meal.
I cannot even fathom not brushing my teeth twice a day. I don’t understand how people are perfectly OK with that disgusting taste in their mouths. I mean, really? How attractive is that?
And don’t think that brushing your teeth only gives you oral benefits — according to an article from WebMD, brushing your teeth protects you against heart disease, stroke and atherosclerosis among other things. This is because certain bacteria that stays in your mouth if you were not to brush your teeth can cause problems with your heart.
And then you’ve got the warning of gingivitis, that if you don’t brush that bacteria in your mouth away, they will start affecting your gums and make them red, swollen, and sore.
So think twice and brush twice when it comes to healthy teeth.
