Who will undertake the Undertaker?

Most wrestling fans, including myself, have been wondering since the Royal Rumble which champion the Undertaker will challenge and fight at WrestleMania.

The Undertaker has a choice of fighting Batista for the world heavyweight title, John Cena for the WWE title or Bobby Lashley for the ECW title.

The Undertaker’s choice became apparent on RAW Monday night. As I sat at home glued to the television screen, Undertaker walked to the ring without saying a word; shortly after that, John Cena’s music began playing and he walked to the ring. My first thought was that the Undertaker had made his choice; John Cena would be his opponent. Then Bobby Lashley’s music began and he made his way to the ring. I was confused, which superstar would Undertaker choose to fight? Just then Batista’s music began and he made his way to the ring.

As all four men stood in the ring, Undertaker looked each champion in the eye. As Undertaker started to turn away, he suddenly glared at Batista and made a slashing motion across his neck with his thumb. It was obvious that the Undertaker had made his choice; he will face Batista for the world heavyweight title at WrestleMania.

This choice did not come as a surprise to me; a few weeks ago Batista had jumped into the ring during one of Undertaker’s matches and began to attack his opponent, Mr. Kennedy. Had Undertaker won that match he would have had a shot at the title, but because Batista had interfered, Undertaker was disqualified.

No sooner had Undertaker made his choice than Shawn Michaels made his way to the ring to challenge John Cena for his title. Before Michaels had even finished voicing his challenge, Randy Orton came to the ring to also challenge John Cena. As if that wasn’t enough, Edge came to the ring to also challenge John Cena for his title.

At this point I was clueless as to what would happen. But at that point Vince Mcmahon came out and offered a solution. He proposed a triple threat match for Michaels, Orton and Edge. The first person to pin either of the opponents automatically is given a match for Cena’s title at WrestlMania.

Edge and Orton are tag team partners, so they agreed to gang up on Shawn Michaels then deal with each other after he was incapacitated. The match began just as they planned; it was more of a handicap match instead of a triple threat match. After taking out Michaels, Orton and Edge turned on each other. After beating each other to a pulp, Michaels managed to get back into the ring. Just as Michaels was about to deliver some Sweet Chin Music to Edge, Edge dodged and Orton caught Michael’s foot. Then Edge tried to spear Michaels, but he dodged and hit Orton. When edge got up and turned around, Michaels was waiting for him with a boot to the face.

Michaels pinned Edge for the win, which means the last two survivors of the Royal Rumble will both get a title shot. But before that, they have to team up with the men they are facing for a tag team match at No Way Out. Undertaker and Batista versus John Cena and Shawn Michaels should be an interesting match. Can enemies put aside their differences long enough to win a tag team match?
